The OTPs are delivered to the Customer in one of the following ways:
- Preferred method – Contis SMS to Customer’s mobile phone number, if no mobile phone number is on record, it will be sent to Customer’s email address. It is essential that the customer contact details are accurate and shared with Contis. Please note, use of email addresses will be phased out in time as per regulatory advice
- Alternative method – Contis provide to client for onward delivery via SMS to the Customer. The OTP will be provided to the client in the API 900 response in the SCAIdentification parameter
Note: OTPs for the online card payment journey will continue to be delivered as per existing methods in place today.
